Project Overview
David and Denise originally planned to install French doors in two corners of their home, along with a bifold door. “Our original thought process was just to have a few French doors and a bifold,” David explained.
Our partner installer, Precision Contractors, suggested rethinking the design entirely. They recommended a cantilever concept that would maximise the connection between the indoor and outdoor spaces. Intrigued, the Martins decided to give it a go.
“It’s just been amazing,” said David. “Now we can open the doors completely and walk straight into the garden. It’s made life so much easier.”
The Outcome
The transformation is nothing short of remarkable. The new design has created a light-filled space that feels like an entirely new home.

The Installation Process
The installation went smoothly, with Aston Aluminium ensuring the process was hassle-free. Even when a small issue arose, Aston’s responsive team delivered the required part on the same day, allowing the builders to complete the project without delay.
David praised the ease of operation of the doors, saying, “They glide so smoothly. It’s amazing. The rollers move so well, and it’s just a joy to use them.”
Final Thoughts
David and Denise couldn’t be happier with the outcome. The doors have completely transformed how they use their home, allowing them to fully enjoy their indoor and outdoor spaces.
“It’s just amazing. These doors have made such a difference to our lives,” David concluded.
